The Salvation Army Carr P. Collins Social Service Center offers the following programs and services:

Food Pantry
Men’s and Women’s Shelter
Home Sweet Home program: The Home Sweet Home Program uses a combination of classroom and one-on-one client centered financial education coupled with limited direct financial assistance in order to prevent homelessness and support residential stability for homeless and at-risk households.
Domestic Violence Shelter
Veterans Program: In partnership with the Veteran’s Administration, the Center provides transitional housing and support services for 110 Veterans. The Veterans work one-on-one with an assigned case manager who helps them develop and achieve service plan goals. These goals may include establishing income, saving money and addressing medical and behavioral health needs. They can stay in the program for up to two year with the ultimate goal of achieving self-sufficiency.
