Carter’s House

In Dallas - Food and Shelter

Carter’s House provides quality clothing to children and teens living in homeless and hard-working low-income families in Dallas County at no cost. Carter’s House currently has one operating program.

Carter’s House presents #USoFly Boutique for Children and Teens. This program provides parents a “shopping” experience without the price tag. Parents come into our offices and they are able to shop for up to four outfits, (top and bottom) per child. “Customers” are able to “shop” for school uniforms, everyday wear, socks, undergarments, and coats.

In addition to our year-round program, we operate several events throughout the year.

#USoFly Boutique for Children and Teens – This event holds the same name as our clothing bank, but it is also used for our semi-annual back to school events. We are pleased to host these events in August and January to ensure that all students are ready for success in their educational endeavors. This event is set up to give children and teens the boutique shopping experience that some may never have.
