Our programs address typical family issues and concerns that today’s families encounter along with serving specific areas such as socially and emotionally challenged and at-risk youth, children with learning differences, runaway and homeless youth, expecting and new parents, pregnant and parenting teens, Hispanic young parents, foster families and victims of human trafficking.

  • Outpatient Counseling
    • The Centers’ Outpatient Clinic
      • Located in Little Rock provides counseling services for children, teens, and adults who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems. Outpatient services can start as early as infancy with our infant mental health interventions.Clients can receive individual, family, and group therapies, as well as, case management, psychiatric consultation, evaluation, and medication management. Bilingual Therapists are available, if needed.
        SAME DAY ACCESS

        Anxiety, depression, agression, or other emotional and behavioral needs aren’t planned occurences. Centers for Youth and Families is pleased to offer Same Day Access to our Outpatient Counseling Clinic to individuals and their families when they need it most.

  • Residential Treatment
    • Residential Treatment programs place children and teens in one location to receive educational, medical, and psychiatric services. This multi-disciplinary team works closely together with the child and family to provide comprehensive assistance as they heal together.Residential Treatment provides enough time and distance from their regular environment to promote, support, and guide the child and his or her family to learn new healthy behavior patterns.Length of stay averages three to six months.

 

  • The Parent Center
    • Whether you are a new parent, single parent, experienced Mom or Dad facing some new issues, married parents, divorced parents, grandparents, foster parents, or a soon-to-be parents with lots of questions, The Parent Center at Centers for Youth and Families is here to equip you for your most most important job of parenting.Since children aren’t born with handbooks, The Parent Center at Centers for Youth & Families wants to be your go-to resource for guiding helping you child through their emotional, social, and developmental milestones. Some of these milestones may involve more advanced emotional and behavioral needs. Our classes and team of educators are here to help you and your children wherever you are on your journey from infancy to the teenage years.
  • Therapeutic Foster Care
    • Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC), is out-of-home care by foster parents with specialized training to care for a wide variety of children and adolescents, usually those with significant emotional, behavioral, or social issues or medical needs.

 

  • Day Treatment
    • Our Day Treatment Program serves children and youth from kindergarten through 12th grade with social, emotional, or behavioral problems who can no longer function in a traditional academic setting to continue their education. Students in our Day Treatment Program learn the skills to succeed in an academic environment.Referrals to Day Treatment must come from the school district in which the child is enrolled.If you have specific questions about our Day Treatment Program, please contact Mark Bryant at 501.666.8686.

 

  • Human Trafficking Treatment Center
    • The Human Trafficking Treatment Center has qualified teams of mental health professionals, most of whom are trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help traumatized children, adolescents, young adults and families find hope, learn resilience and rediscover possible.
