The Community Enrichment Center (CEC) offers the following services:

  • Domestic Violence program:  This program provides long-term housing and care for victims of domestic violence and their children. The program’s goals are to help victims heal and successfully transition to a healthy life away from violence and abuse.  Please call them at 817-281-1133 to seek guidance or help.  Applicant requirements include that you are fleeing a current domestic violence situation, 18 years or older, and assessed through the Tarrant County Central Entry System (you can get this assessment at the CEC by calling 817-281-1164 or visiting their Welcome Center).
  • Food Pantry:  You must live in one of the following zip codes to qualify for grocery assistance: 76021, 76040, 76051, 76053, 76054, 76040, 76117, 76118, 76137, 76092, 76180, 76244, 76148, 76182, 76248, 76022, 76034, 76039.  They are open Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm and Thursday evenings from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
  • Volunteer Income Tax Assistance:  Most households with incomes of $55,000 or less are eligible for tax preparation assistance at no charge through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.  This service is provided between late January through mid-April on the following days and times.  For more information call 817-281-1164.
