Dallas Homebuyer Assistance Program

The Dallas Homebuyer Assistance Program assists homebuyers with a total household income of no less than 60 percent and up to 80 percent of the Dallas Area Median Family Income to purchase a home within the city limits of Dallas.   All applicants and household members must be a U. S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident with a valid residency card.  The amount of assistance will be based on need. The homebuyer must have continuous , satisfactory employment history for the past six months.  Homebuyer must invest at least $1000 toward the purchase of the property and have at least two months of monthly mortgage payments in savings after closing.  Homebuyer may not have more than $10000 in liquid assets.  Assets in excess must be used toward the purchase of the property.  You must call them to pre-qualify for assistance.
