Mission:

The “I Can Still Shine Program” is a faith-based, safe, supportive center for women and children from all walks of life, with no exceptions. We provide our clients the opportunity to choose safety over domestic violence and drug abuse.   We offer a new start to our women and children. In 2018 we celebrate 24 years of helping battered women in Ft. Worth, Texas, and the surrounding areas.

Services:

  •  Food, clothing, linens, and personal care items.
  • Exercise and Art classes, CPR classes.
  • Free eye exams and glasses.
  • College tuition to TCC as funds permit –  YOU MUST ATTEND MONTHLY EVENTS.
  • Referrals to other programs (we are not an overnight shelter) – YOU MUST ATTEND MONTHLY EVENTS.
  • Counseling services –  Offsite
  • Personal support and encouragement.
  • Monthly pampering events which include: Haircuts, makeovers, manicures, pedicures, massages, a hot lunch, gifts, guest speakers, and more.
  • Backpacks and school supplies in August.
  • Christmas gifts in December for women and their kids.
  • Rent and electric help up to 3 times a year  – YOU MUST ATTEND ALL MONTHLY EVENTS.
  • Other emergency needs as funds permit.

Client Intake is by appointment only. Please call the office and the forms will be emailed to you. Client Intake is 1-4pm Monday-Thursday.
