Mentoring & Advocacy

Parent Consultants will assist you by gathering information about your child, listening to your concerns and by providing you with suggestions and resources to guide you as you strive to meet your child’s education and disability needs. Individual Assistance, Mentoring and/or Advocacy are available to you until your child’s needs are met.

Education & Training

Our interactive workshops include training on special education, disabilities and disability awareness, and state and federal disability law for parents and professionals to help meet the needs of children and youth with disabilities. Workshops are available to the public, throughout the state.

School Readiness Project (SRP)

SRP provides services for families of two through five year old children on O`ahu. We provide developmental, social-emotional, hearing, vision and autism screenings. For children with a possible concern, we provide case management to help resolve that concern. Training on early childhood health and developmental milestones is available for all parents. We work to help families build a medical home and support pediatricians to better meet the needs of each child. Our Mobile Screening Unit is fully operational and ready to provide screening services in your neighborhood!
