Outreach Center: Rapid Re-Housing Program

The Rapid Re-Housing Program empowers individuals and families experiencing homelessness to move into housing quickly by making funds available to local residents who are currently homeless.  Assistance may include: rental deposits; short-term rental payments; utility deposits; and extensive case management services.  Case managers work closely with clients to develop and implement a plan to ensure they access other public benefits and through this program, clients are stabilized in housing and assisted comprehensively to help ensure they do not face homelessness again.  To qualify you must be a Louisiana resident and U.S. citizen or qualified resident alien willing to live in Lafayette, St. Landry, Iberia, Vermilion, or St. Martin Parishes.  For more information call to speak with a Housing Case Manager and begin the application process.
