The South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program (SAVLP) is a nonprofit organization that provides free legal assistance in certain civil legal matters to low income residents of Baldwin, Clarke, Mobile, and Washington Counties.  You must be 19 years or older. A parent or legal guardian can apply for services on behalf of a minor in some circumstances.  This is an income and asset based program for low-income households. Your income and assets must fall beneath a certain level.  SAVLP does not handle criminal matters.
