The Star of Hope offers the following services:

  • Women and Family Development Center at Star of Hope’s Cornerstone Community:  This shelter is for single women and families.  They offer 30 days to 18 months of basic care, case management, substance abuse recovery, a state-licensed Children’s Program (including child care, preschool, after school activities, and homework assistance), and assistance with finding permanent housing.  Intake hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-3:30 pm.  Location is 2575 Reed Road, Houston, 77051.  1-713-222-2220
  • Men’s Development Center:  Star of Hope’s Men’s Development Center houses over 300 men nightly and provides emergency and residential programs.  The Men’s Development Center offers a six month Spiritual Recovery Program and a year long Transitional Living Program (TLC).  Location is 1811 Ruiz, Houston, 77002.  1-713-227-8900
  • Holiday Assistance:  Adopt a Family Christmas program
