Description:  The Summer Food Service Program is a program that provides free, nutritious meals to all children during the summer vacation period.

  • Who is Eligible
    • Any child 1-18 years of age, and to individuals over 18 who have been determined by the State to be mentally or physically disabled and who participate in a public or nonprofit school program established for the disabled.

    How to Register

    • No registration is needed. All children are welcomed to attend. All meals are free.
    • All “walk-ins” are welcomed.

    Feeding Sites

    • Only certain schools participate in the Summer Food Service Program.
    • A current list of participating school is available.  Please check with Lafayette Parish School System for current information.
    • Scheduled feeding sites, dates, and times are subject to change.
