Vermilion Behavioral Health Systems
Individuals who enroll in IOP attend treatment three days per week, and participate in five groups each day, for a total of 15 groups each week. IOP participants may receive transportation to and from treatment, and lunch is provided. The typical length of stay in IOP is about six weeks.
The goal of IOP is to help individuals understand their condition, improve their ability to cope, achieve their full potential in terms of both functioning and independence, and improve their overall quality of life. To accomplish these objectives, IOP incorporates a variety of treatment options, including therapy, psychotropic medications, and educational groups.
