Woman, Inc.
Woman, Inc. stands for Women Opting for More Affordable Housing Now. This organization offers housing for women and women with children. They currently have three apartment complexes-Pasadena, Galveston, and Beaumont. They are also in the process of opening one in Houston specifically for female veterans. The program not only offers housing but also case management, childcare assistance, rental assistance, parenting skills’ training, life skills’ management, nutrition and medical intervention, job skills’ improvement, and advocacy.
