One in four women will be a victim of domestic violence in her lifetime. The YWCA empowers domestic violence survivors to take control of their lives, while offering them safety and the resources to ensure their self-sufficiency.

We operate the largest domestic violence shelter in Tennessee.  Our 51-bed Weaver Domestic Violence Center is a safe and welcoming place for women and children fleeing domestic abuse.  Men are sheltered through a partner nonprofit agency.

In addition to emergency shelter services, we offer women, men and children safety planning, case management, counseling, support groups, and community education.
