Legal Aid of Arkansas and the Center for Arkansas Legal Services help low-income Arkansans with civil legal issues. Qualifying for help is based on your income and assets. It is also based on the type of legal problem you have.  Go to the website to complete the online application.  After review, they will contact you and you may speak with an attorney or paralegal. They may schedule an appointment with you, give you advice over the phone, educational materials, or they may refer you to another organization.  This organization also has a HelpLine to call if you are in need of urgent legal help.  The number is 1-800-9-LAW-AID (1-800-952-9243).
