Council of Alcohol & Drug Abuse of Northwest Louisiana
Council of Alcohol & Drug Abuse (CADA)
We want you to get the help you need to fight your addiction. CADA provides 14 treatment programs for people from all walks of life. We can also help you apply for Medicaid to help pay for your treatment.
- CADA offers both a high-intensity and low-intensity residential program for adults.
- CADA also offers outpatient treatment for adolescents.
- The CADA Family Treatment program is for pregnant women and women with children up to 12 years old.
- The Veterans Recovery Center is a program designed to provide a safe, supportive, and drug-free recovery environment for veterans while receiving treatment in the Substance Use Disorder Program at the VA Medical Center. We provide dormitory style rooms, health and hygiene maintenance, nutritious meals, counseling when needed, and transportation to AA meetings and the VA Medical Center for treatment and/or other medical emergencies.
- At CADA, each member of the family can begin healing by participating in the Edna “Tootsie” Davis Family Support Group Program. Join us for a monthly meal, fellowship, and education on various issues that accompany addiction recovery.
