ECHOS (Epiphany Community Health Outreach Services)
ECHOS provides the following service:
- Benefits Application Assistance: ECHOS assists families with submitting applications to State and County medical and social services such as the Harris Health System-Financial Assistance Program (Gold Card), Children’s Medicaid, and SNAP (food stamps). Please see the website for a list of documents needed to apply. Click on “Programs” then “Benefits Application Assistance”.
- Food Pantry: The food pantry is open M-F from 9 am-12 pm. All food is provided to families at no charge and there are no restrictions or requirements.
- Health Screening: ECHOS offers blood pressure and glucose screenings on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. They provide vision screenings on Mondays and Thursdays. Mobile vans also come to the ECHOS campus to provide dental services for children and adults, children’s immunizations, well-child and sports physicals, and sick child care. Please call ECHOS for more information on when to expect the mobile health vans.
- Support Groups: ECHOS has weekly domestic violence support groups.
