- First Street Methodist Mission provides food assistance for families and individuals, including groceries for those with a residence and proper documentation.

To receive groceries, please be sure to bring the following documentation:
- Picture identification for all adults in the household
- One of the following for Proof of Residency that is 30 days old or less: Rent receipt with landlord’s telephone number, electric, water, or gas bill
Grocery assistance is provided once per month for families with children or every two months for families without children.
For guests who are in a housing program in which all of their bills are paid for them please bring a letter from your case worker that includes your name, date of birth, current address, and a statement that explains that you are in a housing program. This written referral will be a guests Proof of Residency and Income.
- Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays | 10:00 am – 1:00 pmInfant Formula is provided to parents and caretakers of infants who are 12 months of age and younger two times each month. Guests are eligible to receive infant formula and other nutritional items based on the age of the child. Diapers and clothing are also available one time each month depending on availability.
The Mission distributes a basic milk based infant formula. If a child needs a specialized non-milk based formula, then the parent or care taker needs to provide us with documentation from the child’s doctor that states which formula the child needs and how long the child needs that formula. We ask that all Infant Formula clients apply for WIC services.

Wednesdays | 2:30 – 4:00 pmThe Career Closet is a resource for job-training and job-placement agencies to assist men and women with specific clothing items for newly obtained employment in service industry jobs. Types of clothing and shoes available are for food service jobs, landscape and construction jobs and scrubs for medical or childcare related jobs.
