Giving Hope, Inc.
Giving Hope, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that serves individuals and families experiencing or at-risk of homelessness in Denton County, Texas. They provide rental and utility assistance for eligible participants, with specific programs for persons with disabilities and veterans.
In order for them to appropriately respond to your needs, they must have the following documents to complete the intake process:
- Driver’s License or State Issued ID for all persons age 18 or over
- Social Security Card for all occupants (example: children, spouse, or other dependents living with you)
- Copy of entire, signed Lease Agreement and landlord’s contact information
- Notice of unpaid rent/notice to vacate
- Proof of employment/Income (two most recent pay stubs)
- Benefits award letter(Social Security / VA / SNAPS if applicable)
- Six months of bank statements
- Additional documents supporting your need for assistance (example: unexpected medical bills/car repairs
