The Houston Area Women’s Center (HAWC) offers the following services:

24-hour crisis hotlines: HAWC offers a hotline for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Sexual Assault Hotline: 1-713-528-7273
*If you are in immediate danger always call 911 first.

Shelter: The HAWC shelter offers childcare, safety planning, goal setting, and referral to other community resources. They also have a Career Development Program to assist each client work towards educational and/or employment goals.
Counseling: HAWC offers free counseling services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. They also offer accompaniment to law enforcement and criminal justice proceedings.
