The Emergency Solution Grant (ESG) Program is a grant program, is a partnership between Pulaski County Government and the Arkansas Department of Human Services.

The ESG Program has two components in which it provides rental assistance to individuals or families who are deemed eligible.

Homeless Prevention Assistance: For individuals and families who are currently housed but are at risk of becoming homeless due to receiving a notice of eviction, who need temporary stabilization assistance to prevent them from becoming literally homeless.
Rapid Re-Housing Assistance: For individuals and families who are literally homeless (residing in shelters or are living in a place not meant for human habitation) and need temporary assistance in order to obtain housing.

Depending on the level of need of each participant, the HP/RR program can assist with short or medium term rental assistance.
