Sharing Life

Sharing Life can provide financial assistance to help clients pay rent or utility bills.  This service is handled on a case-by-case basis.  Sharing Life serves residents of the following zip codes:  75032, 75087, 75030, 75043, 75088, 75089, 75126, 75149, 75150, 75159, 75180, 75181, 75182, 75217, 75218, 75227, 75228, 75253, 75189, 75253.

For financial assistance, you must provide the following:

• Proof of residency. A utility bill from the last 30 days showing applicant’s name and address or a letter on company letterhead from landlord indicating proof of residency in the last 30 days.
• Proof of identity. Only a picture ID will suffice, a state driver’s license, state identification, military identification, foreign consulate—issued identification (Matricula Consular).

You also must meet income guidelines.  You can download a copy of the income guidelines from the website.  The website also allows you to download an application.
