Society of St. Vincent de Paul-Dallas
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul can assist with food, clothing, furniture, rent, utility, transportation, and medication. They also have a miniloan program. This program provides low-interest re-financing for those who are trapped by high interest rates and unmanageable payments from payday or auto title loans. They also offer low-interest emergency loans to those who qualify (between $500-$2500). These loans are for expenses like home and auto repair, a deposit on a new or safer apartment, and medical bills.
If you are in need of help please call the Society at (469)607-0909. They will give you information and referrals to the Society in your area and/or other agencies for assistance.
The Society also has a pharmacy that is available for use to those who have no health insurance coverage, have a household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, and have a valid prescription. Call the pharmacy at (469)232-9902 to begin the application process.
