The Bridge Over Troubled Waters

The Bridge is a family crisis center that serves survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.  They offer services to both adults and children.  Adult services include crisis intervention, case management, peer support groups, individual counseling, accompaniment to court, hospitals, etc., parenting classes, and referral to needed resources.  Children’s services include on-site childcare, on-site therapeutic services, referrals made for family/individual therapy, age-appropriate support groups, assistance with public school enrollment, and supportive services such as school supplies and school transportation.  The Bridge has a 100-bed emergency shelter for women and children and 8 units of transitional housing for single women.
