The Council on Recovery-Houston

Center for Recovering Families:  This program provides intensive outpatient treatment, counseling, and relapse prevention services to individuals and their families with problems related to alcoholism, substance abuse, and other addictions.  Please go to the website and click on “Services” then “Counseling and Treatment” to view a list of insurance plans accepted by The Council on Recovery.  If you do not have insurance The Council will help you determine if you qualify for any state-funded assistance or other community resources.

Twelve Step and other Support Meetings: The Council’s meetings include those specifically for persons with alcoholism, persons with eating disorders, and many other concerns.  Please go to the website and click on “Services” then “Recovery Meetings” to find the topic, time, and place of each meeting.
