Under 1 Roof provides the following services to residents of Dallas and Collin Counties:

Social Services: Emergency rental and utility assistance, relocation assistance, transportation support (bus tickets).
Housing: U1R Housing Programs primary focus is moving families from homelessness to self-sufficiency within 12 months of entry. In exchange for housing, residents are required by written agreement to work full time, obey the program guidelines, and attend volunteer taught classes in life skills, employment, community living, and budgeting. In addition to housing and life-skills counseling as well as intensive case management, Under 1 Roof provides the following through a network of community support: food pantry, medical assistance, dental work, GED classes, haircuts, glasses, school clothes, school uniforms, etc.
Legal Services: Landlord/tenant workshops to inform individuals of their rights and responsibilities as tenants; representation before administrative bodies concerning applications for food stamps, unemployment benefits, etc.; assistance with addressing legal concerns such as Class C misdemeanors and warrants, criminal convictions, etc.; assistance and/or referrals with family law matters such as divorce, child custody, and protective orders.
