The YMCA of Honolulu seeks to nurture the potential of every child and teen who comes through our doors. Whether you are the parent of a young child looking for preschool care options, or are a young adult looking for a place to form friendships, the Y is here for you.
Programs & Services:
We offer a part-time preschool program at 5 locations across Oahu. These programs are available year-round for children ages 18 months to five years.
The YMCA of Honolulu provides after school care for nearly 7,000 children in grades K-6 through the A+ program at over 50 public schools on Oahu.
When you need convenient and affordable before and after-school care, this program is for you.
Full and half-day programs, designed to be fun and educational, are offered during the fall, winter, and spring school breaks.
We offer a variety of programs during the summer, from day camps to overnight camps to teen leadership programs, there’s something for everyone!
For our teens, the right guidance and support can make a real difference in figuring out who they are and what they can achieve.
The Y is committed to young adults and college students to help them grow strong roots for success.
We offer year-round sports and fun for kids of all ages and skill levels.
Serving families has always been at the heart of our Y, so we offer family activities that encourage strong bonds and healthy family habits while creating lifelong memories.

The YMCA of Honolulu has been the heart and soul of the community for nearly 140 years. During these many years, we have supported those in need, through child/youth development, family strengthening and health and well-being programs. Today, we are as committed as ever to helping all members of our community live healthier lives – in spirit, mind and body. For these reasons, the YMCA developed the “Membership For All” program to help health seekers who may need financial assistance.
Through the generosity of donors and in an effort to encourage all members of our community to live healthier lives, the YMCA developed the “Membership For All” program to help health seekers who may need financial assistance.
