Covenant House Texas
Covenant House Texas exclusively works with homeless youth ages 18-24, including pregnant and parenting teens with children. They offer the following services:
- Housing Programs: CHT has a drop-in center which offers day services such as meals, laundry, clothing, and showers. Youth can also be connected with a case manager to assess their individual needs. Youth are assured a safe space, warm meals, free healthcare, and other supportive services. The Rights of Passage program teaches independent living skills and can last up to two years.
- Medical Clinic: The Richard Stasney Medical Clinic provides free services to homeless or runaway youth. Services include primary care, STD testing, mental health care, case management, health education, drug awareness and education, and substance abuse assessments.
