Houston Galveston Institute (HGI) Counseling Center
The Houston Galveston Institute (HGI) offers counseling services, workshops, and programs to families from all walks of life and economic levels. They work with individuals, couples, and families. HGI is the leader in Collaborative Therapy, which means they work with their clients on what they want to work on what they want to achieve or change what they want to change. They are purely about their clients, listening, asking questions, exploring ideas, and finding solutions. HGI walk-in counseling offers the opportunity to see a therapist, without an appointment. Those who come to their walk-in counseling decide what they want to talk about and the goal for the session. If additional counseling sessions are requested, they will work with you on scheduling future appointments. Walk-in counseling programs are open Monday-Friday from 3pm-7pm and Saturdays from 9am-5pm. Walk-in counseling is located in the main office.
Fees: One fifty minute session regular fee is $115.00. Clients may qualify to pay fees guided by a sliding scale which is based upon household annual income and personal circumstances. The therapist will discuss fees with each client. Some insurance is accepted.
