Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP)
The Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP) is an alternative peer group for adolescents and families in the Greater Houston area who seek to prevent or overcome the harmful effects of drug and alcohol abuse. If you are ready to make a life change and are willing to become drug and alcohol-free, you are welcome at PDAP. Their program is developed for ages 12 through 25 and their parents. You will meet some peers and receive information about PDAP at your first meeting. You will get a newcomer packet or phone list, and get a chance to see what they are all about. Set up an orientation appointment with a counselor for an initial assessment where you will develop a plan for your family’s recovery. Please see the website and click on “Join PDAP” then “Meeting Times and Locations” to find a meeting near you. PDAP’s recovery program and social activities are available at no cost. Counseling services are available on a generous sliding scale fee structure. PDAP does not want money to get in the way of anyone who needs help and support with their recovery.
