• The Salvation Army is dedicated to helping individuals and families with crisis and emergency situations.
  Our Community Service offices provide a wide variety of assistance to individuals in need. These range from clothing and furniture vouchers for burnout victims to rent/mortgage assistance, utility assistance and prescription drug assistance.  Contact:  Sally Lemelle, Social Services Director, (225) 355-4483.
• At the Bed and Bread Lodge, The Salvation Army provides overnight shelter and a hot meal for men of all ages and offers the opportunity for them to take advantage of our many programs, which are designed to combat homelessness.  Contact:  Dan Bannister, (225) 355-4483 ext. 14.
