Veterans Housing Partnership
Housing Crisis Center’s (HCC) mission is to prevent homelessness and to stabilize those at risk in decent, affordable, and permanent housing. We provide services designed to prevent homelessness, housing programs that give safety and shelter to those who need our help, and supportive services to our clients to help them address the issues that led contributed to them becoming homeless. More than 10,000 households rely on HCC for assistance each year.
Our Veterans Housing Partnership (VHP) program provides permanent supportive housing with intensive case management for homeless, disabled veterans and their families. Veterans receive support services at the VA Medical Center, on-site at their apartment complex, and at various locations in the community. Veterans are referred to HCC by the Veteran’s Administration.
To qualify individuals must be chronically homeless, disabled, and a veteran. Families must be currently homeless, with the head of household being disabled and a veteran.
