- HIV/AIDS services include: Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) consists of a tenant based housing program, a permanent supportive housing program, and a housing information services program. The tenant based housing program provides scattered site housing for 18 months to persons living with HIV/AIDS who meet HOPWA eligibility requirements. The fixed site is located in a residential area and houses 14 families. All program individuals receive supportive services to maintain housing and health care. Our Housing Information Specialist provides referral, counseling and fair housing information services to assist eligible persons with locating, acquiring, financing, and maintain housing. This supports assists clients in finding stable and affordable housing or making the transition from tenant based housing into permanent living arrangement. Volunteers of America also offers support groups to the HIV/AIDS population.
- Housing: Our properties provide low-income working families a place to call home. In addition to larger units with two, three and four bedrooms, we provide special facilities and services that help to address the needs of both children and their parents. By providing families with the space they need and services that help parents and their children thrive, we help families build communities.
